Joined the Board in December 2010 as a non-executive director. He became Chief Executive on 1 April 2011 and was appointed Executive Chairman on 18 May 2011. He was formerly Chief Executive of Atex Media Command Limited and Chairman of Genus plc and prior to that was Chief Executive of Anite plc where he was responsible for taking the Group from a £68m loss to a £30m profit. He spent 25 years with Philips Electronics most recently as Global Head of Multimedia and was instrumental in formulating the DVD standard. John is also non-executive Chairman of Psion plc.
Joined the Board in January 2000 and was appointed Company Secretary in October 2000. He previously held the positions of Finance Director of the Mitsubishi Electric Corporation PC Division and Group Finance Director of Bluebird Toys plc.
As MD of Vislink Inc. Mike is responsible and accountable for our offices and people in Billerica and Vista, USA, and heads up Vislink's Surveillance business. Prior to his appointment as MD, Mike held the position of Vislink Group CTO, responsible for the coordination of Vislink's overall product and technology strategy. During his CTO tenure, he played a key role in helping to position the group to take advantage and begin to drive efficiency via its core technology developments.
Prior to Mike's two year assignment as Group CTO, he had had over 20 additional years of experience in the microwave communications industry. Positions held during his tenure at MRC included VP of Marketing & Business Development, VP of Operations, VP of Engineering and Product Line Manager.
In his marketing and business development roles Mike and his team were responsible for MRC's product roadmap which included launching MRC's developing IP communications strategy, which will help provide the base for next generation News Gathering and Law Enforcement products for the group.
Prior to his marketing role, Mike was responsible for MRC's Operations where his five year tenure began with Vislink's acquisition of MRC.
Mike earned his BSET and a BSEE from Wentworth Institute of Technology and an MBA from Suffolk University both located in Boston Massachusetts. He holds a US Patent for: Methods and Apparatus for Transmitting Analogue and Digital Information Signals. A patent which represents and protected the critical technology used in Microwave Radio Communication's long-haul product portfolio, leading to over 80% of market share for the US DTV transition.
Stephen joined Vislink in September 2004 as Managing Director of its satellite systems division, Advent Communications, and was appointed MD Vislink International in May 2011, being responsible and accountable for our offices and people in Hemel Hempstead, Dubai, Singapore.
Prior to joining Vislink Stephen spent six months with Pixology plc, a leading provider of innovative software and services in the digital photographic industry, overseeing the roll out of major retail digital photo networks in the USA and UK.
From 1993 to 2004 Stephen held several senior roles within the Datacard Corporation, a world leader in secure I.D. and credit card personalisation systems, latterly responsible for subsidiary operations in the UK, France, Germany and Spain. Stephen created strong groups spanning geographies and culture positioning Datacard as a major supplier of solutions in the financial and intelligent identification markets. Stephen was also involved in several acquisitions and mergers during his tenure with Datacard.
Prior to that Stephen was Business Unit Director for Spectra-Physics corporation for six years, a leading supplier of laser based data capture systems for the point-of-sale and stock applications.
Stephen spent five years with Copal Systems, the Japanese manufacturer of photographic processing systems, introducing the "one hour" photo print service into the UK high street.
Stephen started his career with an Olivetti subsidiary as a key account manager training new recruits.
