Advent has responded to an urgent operational requirement from a Government Agency in Mexico by supplying two complete satellite antenna systems within just 48 hours of receiving an order from Vislink sister company MRC (Microwave Radio Communications).  MRC have a long-standing association with the end customer, having previously supplied them with helicopter downlinks and microwave communications as part of an integrated surveillance system.  The new satellite antenna systems will be integrated with the MRC helicopter downlink systems to provide backhaul communication for a remote border surveillance application.  Advent also provided installation services to support the rapid commissioning of the satellite antenna systems and the Group’s ability to respond so effectively resulted in an immediate contract for an additional two antenna systems with prospects for further units later in the year.
