Extensive Range of Field-Proven Wireless Broadcast Video Solutions to be Showcased

Vislink Technologies will feature its state-of-the-art products at the SVG College Sports Summit 2019 (Booth 318), which will be held on May 29-31 at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center, Atlanta. Vislink’s lineup includes the award-winning HCAM+ULRX HEVC 4K UHD wireless camera system, INCAM on-board camera transmitters, MicroLite 2 wireless transmission system, DirectVu HD handheld receiver/monitor and the IMTDragonFly miniature transmitter.

“Our ultra-low latency solutions address the need among sports video producers to provide a high-impact experience for their audiences, says Jeff Daubert, Vislink Sports and Entertainment Manager, who will be heading up Vislink’s appearance at the event. “They are the perfect complements to live college sports production applications.”

The all-start at the event will be the HCAM transmitter and UltraReceiver (ULRX). The HCAM, which won the “Best in Show” award at NAB 2019, was the first HEVC 4K UHD wireless transmitter on the market, and is now is the most widely deployed. Vislink will also be showcasing its new INCAM wireless camera transmitters for Sony’s new HDC-5500 4K multi-format live camera system (INCAM-HS) and Grass Valley’s newest LDX 86N Series 4K-RF camera (INCAM-HG). Ideally suited to sports broadcasting applications, these wireless camera transmitters feature the same technology as Vislink’s HCAM on-camera device.

Vislink’s MicroLite 2 Wireless Transmission System, a highly portable, professional grade MPEG 4 COFDM HD wireless camera system, will also be on display at the SVG College Sports Summit. Featuring HD/SD-SDI and HDMI inputs in a small, lightweight chassis, the MicroLite 2 delivers up to 250mW of power, providing reliable HD video transmission at distances over two miles. Its COFDM technology ensures the transmission of uninterrupted, live TV pictures, despite the effects of foliage, challenging terrain, buildings and other common limitations.

Also being displayed at Vislink’s booth is its DirectVu HD COFDM (DVB-T compliant) diversity handheld receiver/monitor and the HDMI-compatible IMTDragonFly miniature wireless camera transmitter. DirectVu HD offers exceptional RF performance and durability, combined with true ease of operation and superb MPEG-2/MPEG-4 decoding and features an easy-to-use menu-driven interface designed with the user in mind. The handheld unit displays COFDM video transmissions using a built-in nine-inch 16:9 format, bright, high-resolution LCD screen. The IMTDragonFly is designed to capture real-time, high-quality video from UAV/UGV/Body Cams/Concealments for display on fixed or mobile receive applications. Due to its compact size and COFDM transmission capabilities, the transmitter can deliver completely new and expanded points of view, including with drone, mobile and remote applications.
