James Walton – President of IMT Ltd
James Walton serves as president of IMT Ltd (trading as Vislink), with responsibility for the management of Vislink offices located in the United Kingdom, and all IMT and Vislink business operations outside of the Americas. This includes the sale of all current IMT and Vislink products in those areas. James is also a corporate officer of xG Technology.
James is a finance and business professional with nearly 15 years of experience within global technology companies, with expertise in board level reporting, interaction with external stakeholders, acquisitions and refinancing activities. He has been with Vislink Communication Systems since 2012, originally serving as Chief Financial Officer responsible for ensuring financial strategic decision-making, business reporting, financial controls, budgeting and forecasting, and leading the integration of acquisitions. In 2015, James also became Chief Operating Officer of Vislink, increasing his responsibilities to include the streamlining of all day-to-day operations and overseeing the commercial activities of the business. In July 2016 he also became Chief Executive Officer of the business, assuming overall responsibility for global operations, prior to the acquisition by xG Technology.
Prior to Vislink, James worked for five years at Atex Group Limited, a private equity-backed software company, holding the titles of Assistant Group Financial Control, Group Controller, and Vice President & Global Finance Director. Prior to that, James worked at Hutchison 3G, a cellular network provider in Europe, and KPMG.
James earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Newcastle University in 2001 and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) since 2004.
David Robins – Vice President of Sales
David Robins serves as Vislink’s Vice President of Sales, with the responsibility of managing a Global group of Sales Managers to be efficient and effective as possible.
With 19 years’ experience within Vislink has seen David hold a variety of customer facing roles, culminating in his current business role of driving sales excellence.
In his early development days, David was the winner of the prestigious ‘UK Tech award’ for the design and development of a flight transponder, used in ‘information friend or foe’ (IFF) systems for a variety of national air forces.
David received his National Diploma for Business, Mathematics and Engineering at the University of Bedfordshire before embarking on his career as an international sales leader back in 2002.
Chris Lowder – VP Global Operations
Chris is responsible for the IMT Group Manufacturing and Customer Service operation globally.
Chris joined Vislink in August 2015 and has over 17 years of Manufacturing and Supply Chain experience within the electronics industry. He is an operational professional with a passion for process improvement and developing people through the deployment of lean manufacturing and coaching. Chris has driven many operational improvement programs including implementation of sales and operations planning, inventory reduction, product and supply chain cost reduction, site consolidations and quality improvement plans.
Chris started his career at Snell Advanced Media as a new product introduction engineer and after a few years moved into a more operational role as Manufacturing Engineering Manager where he transformed the company from a batch build process to lean/cellular based manufacturing, which improved the performance of operations. He then moved into a broader role as Operations Manager for the business covering materials management, logistics, purchasing, manufacturing and quality.
Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Portsmouth University along with a Fellowship of Manufacturing Management from Cranfield University.
Tony Price – Vice President of Commercial
Tony serves as Commercial Vice President with responsibility for maintaining a consistent trajectory of growth in the business by identifying and nurturing opportunities outside of the core broadcast market, he also provides support and guidance to ensure that contractual obligations are clear, unambiguous and maximise the company’s revenues.
Tony is a business professional with ten years Senior Management experience in Communication Technology companies. He has proven expertise in Sales, Operations and major project delivery.
Tony joined Vislink in 2013 initially as Project Director of a high profile, high value UK Government Technology upgrade followed by the delivery of a complex broadcast receive system for a major regional sporting event in Asia. In 2016 Tony transitioned to a Business Development role focussing on establishing a sustainable presence in the law enforcement public safety & defence sector, he continues this as part of his current role. In 2017 he became Commercial Vice President and joined the Senior Management team.
Prior to Vislink, after a highly successful military career in Army reconnaissance Tony joined the board of an AIM surveillance technology company as Operations Director eventually moving on to found and successfully grow a Tech start-up, securing and delivering a major intelligent traffic management contract for the London 2012 Olympics in its second year.
Tony earned an executive diploma in strategic management from the Chartered Management Institute and project management qualifications from the Association of Project Management Professionals.
Robert King – European Sales Director
Robert King serves as European Sales Director of IMT Ltd., with overall responsibility for delivering the $20m European sales target. This includes the sale of all current IMT and Vislink products within Europe and managing the European sales team. He also holds the global position of Business Unit Manager for the Wireless Camera System product division.
Rob is a sales professional with nearly 15 years of experience within global technology companies, with a successful track record of technical sales in the broadcast media industry, motorsport and defence / surveillance markets, including major projects in Turkmenistan, Germany and Poland.
Prior to Vislink, Rob worked for 5 years at Radio Frequency Systems (RFS), a designer and manufacturer of coaxial cable, antenna and tower systems, as well as active and passive RF filters. During his time at RFS, Rob managed the logistics / warehouse operation as well working in the sales department.
Rob earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Studies from Leeds Metropolitan University in 2003.
Chris Dalton – Director of Product Management
Chris joined Advent Communications (now part of Vislink) in 1996 as a Systems Engineer after graduating from the University of Surrey with an MSc in Satellite Communications Engineering.
Initially he worked mostly on SNG vehicles before moving to specialize in providing COTS solutions into defence environments. After a brief sojourn at Gigasat, again working on COTS solutions, he moved back to Vislink to provide pre-sales technical support on complex projects.
In 2016 Chris moved into Product Management and now heads up the ROW Product Management department.
Dean Chettra – Global Channel Manager
Dean Chettra is the Global Channel Manager of IMT Ltd, with responsibility for the management of IMT’s go-to market Global Channel Strategy. This includes the sale of all current IMT and Vislink and xG products through an authorised network of Distributors, VAR’s, Resellers and System Integrators.
Dean is a successful channel and business sales professional with over 16 years of experience within global technology companies, and a core expertise in developing, implementing and executing Channel Programs and the Go-To-Market strategy within the Broadcast/IT/Telecoms sectors.
Dean joined IMT Ltd (Trading as Vislink Communication Systems) since 2017.
Prior to Vislink, Dean has worked for some of the world’s leading technology companies including Sonus Networks (now Ribbon Communications) a leader in providing real-time communication and security solutions, Vidyo, a private equity-backed software company disrupting the world of Unified Communication, developing Channel and Distribution for both across EMEA and beyond. Dean has also enjoyed senior channel roles at ACT (now PGi) a leading Unified Communication company and Advantech a leader in providing trusted innovative embedded and automation products and solutions.
Eddie Lee – Regional Sales Director, APAC
Eddie serves as Regional Sales Director of IMT Ltd, trading as Vislink with key responsibility for the sale of all current IMT and Vislink products in the APAC region. Managing a team in Singapore, China and Philippines, Eddie ensures that his team provides pre and post sales support to all Asia customers.
Bringing with him more than 20 years of direct sales and project management experience within the Broadcast, Telecommunication & Technology industries; Eddie demonstrates strong business acumen in analyzing business trend with proven sales track records in constant achievements in meeting and exceeding expected sales budget.
Eddie joined Vislink in 2010 as a Regional Sales Manager, in 2013 he became Regional Sales Director.
Prior to joining Vislink, Eddie was with Radio Frequency Systems (RFS) as Business Development Director; where he handled Asia Pacific projects & project sales activities for the WINS (Wireless In-Door Solutions) products and services, including Full Turnkey Solution Designs, Business Development & Account Management.
Eddie possess a Bachelor’s Degree with the University of Bradford and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute.
