MVP WiCam

Standalone On-site Camera

WiCam

Onsite camera for surveillance vehicles and standalone setups

The WiCam is a combination of a high-quality video encoder, PTZ Camera, WMT-Multiplex software and industrial encasing hardware. The WiCam has by default 3x 3G/4G radio modules (upgradable to eight), Wi-Fi and RS-485. Supporting both HDMI and SDI cameras and analogue via a converter, the WiCam delivers a complete solution for video surveillance vehicles and standalone setups. The hardware is available for temperature ranges between -25 and 60 degrees Celsius.

The WiCam can multiplex up to eight connections, which can be a combination of 3G/4G/Wi-Fi/Fixed IP/CDMA2000 or other technologies. The WiCam provides HD-HDMI and SDI input and analogue video and audio input via a separate converter by default. The WiCam encodes the video dynamically with H.264 with embedded AAC audio. The adaptive-encoded video and audio is transported over the multiplexed connections. The system provides video bandwidths between 150 kbit and 16 Mbit (capped) depending on available mobile bandwidth and sent over auxiliary data. For remote control of PTZ cameras there is an RS485 port available. The unit can be monitored via a separate external display or via the built-in Wi-Fi access point from any smartphone.

The WiCam utilizes patent-pending Mplex multiplexing technology to create a high data-rate channel to deliver the highest-quality video possible.
