Enhancing downlink reliability with automated antenna deployment
The Antenna Actuator enhances downlink consistency by extending the video downlink transmitter antenna below the aircraft, ensuring a clear line-of-sight transmission. By providing necessary clearance, it eliminates signal obstruction caused by skids, camera gimbals, and other equipment mounted under the fuselage.
For added convenience, the Antenna Actuator can be automatically retracted when integrated with a radar altitude control system via the switched output.
Two control panel options are available:
- Handheld Retractor Control Panel – A compact, manual control solution.
- HRCP Remote Control Panel – A comprehensive remote interface for managing Downlink Transmitters and Uplink Receivers.
