IMT Vislink is pleased to announce that Lowell Beckner has been appointed Regional Sales Manager, Broadcast, for the Southeast Region. He will be based in the region and his territory will exclusively include broadcast industry clients located in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas and Louisiana. Lowell is a specialist in IMT Vislink’s market-leading broadcast solutions that include electronic news gathering, wireless camera systems, portable microwave, and spectrum repack/ATSC 3.0-ready fixed point-to-point systems.
Lowell’s extensive television engineering and production experience give him valuable insights into the broadcaster’s processes and requirements. His background includes director-level technical and engineering positions at numerous major broadcasting organizations in the southeast, including the following: CTO at REN Media Group USA, Inc.; Director of Engineering at WFTS-TV (Tampa, FL); Director of Operations & Engineering at WTEV/WAWS (Jacksonville, FL); Regional Director of Engineering at WSAV (Savannah, GA) and WCBD (Charleston, SC); Director of Operations & Engineering at WCIV (Charleston, SC); Chief Engineer at WMBB–TV (Panama City, FL); and Assistant Chief Engineer at WTVY-TV (Dothan, AL).
Lowell’s professional affiliations include membership in SMPTE, SBE, the Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association (AOPA), and the Association of Unmanned Aerial Videographers. He is also a retired U.S Air Force veteran.
