DragonFly V 5G

DragonFly V 5G is a compact H.265 (HEVC) wireless bonded video transmitter designed to deliver live video from portable, airborne and mobile platforms. Its lightweight design and low power consumption make it suitable for battery-powered deployments in demanding operational environments.

Supporting video formats up to 1080p50/59, DragonFly V 5G enables high-quality live video transmission from remote locations into command centres and operational control systems. The transmitter supports connectivity across public and private 5G networks, alongside Wi-Fi connectivity, enabling flexible bonded transmission across available network resources.

With support for HD-SDI or HDMI camera inputs, DragonFly V 5G can integrate with a wide range of compact camera systems used in surveillance, reconnaissance and situational awareness applications.

Dragonfly in the Mission Critical Video Workflow 

DragonFly V 5G is designed for portable and discreet video transmission deployments where size, weight and power consumption are critical.

Within the Vislink portfolio for public safety and defence, DragonFly V 5G provides a lightweight option for transmitting live video from small camera systems and mobile platforms where larger transmitters may not be practical.

DragonFly V 5G Dual-Modem Variant

A dual-modem version of DragonFly V 5G is available for deployments requiring increased connectivity resilience.

The DragonFly V 5G Dual-Modem Variant enables two simultaneous cellular connections alongside Wi-Fi, increasing network diversity and improving transmission reliability when operating in challenging or congested network environments.

This configuration maintains the compact size and low power profile of the DragonFly platform while providing additional connectivity flexibility for mission-critical live video applications.
