Once again, Vislink technology was right at the heart of a fast-paced marquee auto racing event. This time, it was the Lenovo Gulf 12 Hours, the premier GT endurance race in the Middle East. The event took place this past Dec. 8-10th at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, home to the annual Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and one the most technologically-advanced tracks in the world.

The race featured three categories of driver crews, all competing with GT3 racing cars. The cars are based on their roadgoing counterparts and are known for their impressive power and pinpoint precision. Vislink live video transmission equipment, including the HCAM 4K UHD Camera Transmitter and Quantum IP-native wireless camera receiver, was deployed to cover the action.
