Advanced Video Aggregation and Distribution for Airborne Video Downlink Systems
Q-Link is a crucial element of Vislink’s Airborne Video Downlink Systems (AVDS), providing seamless control, aggregation, and distribution of video captured from airborne platforms. It securely extends situational video to an unlimited number of observers over various IP networks, including Ethernet, Wi-Fi, IP Satellite, and IP cellular.
Q-Link accepts video streams from Vislink’s IP diversity receivers, adaptively transcodes the video into standard streaming formats, and distributes it along with audio and metadata to multiple IP-based viewing terminals. These terminals can range from single PCs running VLC, smartphones on cellular networks, to HD video walls.
The Q-Link ecosystem coordinates the components of receive systems and transmitters, leveraging eLink technology for Ethernet/IP interconnects. This allows for the synchronization of remote receivers and the consolidation of statistics, all managed through a single web-based interface.
Additionally, Q-Link features a four-service HD decoder with dual-channel capabilities, ensuring robust and flexible video distribution.
